Well, my wife and I are thinking we have been had. The lady that does the home study to allow us to adopt children told us straight up that since our criminal records are clear, we're in. Now its just a bunch of paperwork.
So my wife cleaned the house for nothing (but I still like a clean house.)

I remember when you were a kid, you fancied the idea of being a fighter pilot or astronaut. To achieve this, you kept your nose clean. Now, it's paying off.
I'm glad things went well. I never doubted you guys. There is a state that wants to make it as difficult to conceive a baby as it is to adopt one. If you are not married, have a job, off drugs, you might loose it without even committing an crime. A little part of me agrees with that.
